Entrance to cottage is ramped. All
doors to the cottage are accessible. There is a small lip (25mm) when
exiting the main door. Ø
Light switches and remotes are mostly in
reach. Lighting can be adjusted as required. Ø
Circulation
space
within all rooms is adequate and furniture can be adjusted as required. Ø Kitchen facilities including fridge, oven, microwave and dishwasher are at an accessible height but kitchen bench is 960mm. Ø
In bedroom QS bed with 180mm from floor to bed base.
Floor to top of bed is 600mm. Side wall to bedside is 1540mm and 800mm. Bathroom Area: Ø
Shower
area
has flat entrance with good circulation space. There is a freestanding
shower chair and hand held shower nozzle. Taps, and shampoo dispenser are
a little high but horizontal grab rails and soap holder are compliant. Ø
Toilet has side and rear grab rails. Toilet
height – 430mm; sidewall to centre line of bowl –
470mm; rear wall to front of toilet – 840mm.
