The Mansfield Bush Market in Highett Street
The Mansfield Bush Market

This district has a fantastic reputation for hosting a variety of festivals and events throughout the year. You might choose to come during some of the higher profile events, the Mansfield Mountain Country Festival and or the famous Mansfield Races on Melbourne Cup Day, the Mansfield Balloon Festival or the superbly relaxing and totally undemanding Mansfield High Country Harvest Festival.

Or you might like to catch the atmosphere of one the Mansfield Bush Markets held four times a year where you can wander among the cottage industry craft stalls to heart's content. With a theme of Make it, Bake it or Grow it, the bush markets always have something which appeals to everyone.

Then again the uniqueness of the Tolmie Sports in February each year is not to be missed. This fun-filled participation day in the gorgeous setting of the Tolmie Sports Ground will provide wonderful country memories to take home with you.

Other events in the district are the Mansfield Races, the Mansfield Campdraft, annual Mansfield Agricultural Show, the Delatite Winery Summer Festival  and annual Garden Tours.

Events on Mt Buller include the spectacular World Cup aerials, the Abom Mogul Challenge, and outside of winter the downhill mountain bike races and frequent running of the sightseeing chairlift.
